There are times when it is necessary to be silent. When you are in prayer, thought and process. You know when the time comes for speech. It is then that the tongue speaks gratitude from the heart, from a place of truth. I have been silent from my writings, from my radio show, but not silent from my heart. It has cried volumes, felt the joy and pain of challenge and of growth. And now it is time to release and enjoy. I praise the victories that have come and give gratitude for the process.

Today’s Affirmation. I stand in absolute faith and victory that prayers are answered abundantly

From Vision to Verification! Your Dreams in Action.

Last week I shared with my Soul Purpose team on our Monday evening call – the power of creating a vision. A vivid vision that is alive with color and can be seen by others because of the descriptions we use. My vision is of a wraparound porch with Cracker Barrel rocking chairs for 4 adults and 3 children with rose bushes, dogwoods and forsynthia’s nearby, children playing tag in the yard. Looking through the window to the interior of my home is an Inspiration Room where I have display my library of books and my husband’s music collection. The room is warm, inviting, open, and cozy. Bright with skylight and live plants providing oxygen and energy to the space. I hold my Soul Purpose parties here, retreat for relaxation and family. I continue to expand my vision because, “I can”.

Tonight’s call will discuss how our lifestyle gathering is our model for “Verifying the Vision”.

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and I will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what shall I answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” —Habakkuk 2:1-3, King James Bible

During this season of Thanksgiving, I am truly grateful for life and its opportunities and blessings. Today on Josi’s Inspiration I had the pleasure of speaking with my friend and sister in Christ – Elder Verlean Turner. The added blessing was that my accountability partner Michelle Oliver was able to join us as well. Listen now and I wish you a blessed Thanksgiving.

Josi’s Inspiration talks with Money Guru Michelle Oliver about having a Wealth Mindset. Listen Here!

July 30 – August 2 was a fantastic time. Traveling to NY, Mike and I enjoyed family, food & fun! Today is August 4 and it’s a beautiful day here in Richmond, but I am still in a NY state of mind! Jazz is playing, I am working on my financial budget for 4th quarter 2010. My goal is to light it up for the New Year with Soul Purpose.

TODAY, I CHOOSE TO BE WEALTHY!!! I ACCEPT WISDOM AS A GIFT.

I am so excited to be at this place in my life. Turning 56 after 3 cancer diagnoses reminds me of how tremendously blessed I am. My greatest gift was celebrating Elijah’s graduation from kindergarten. It was an emotional morning spent with family feeling pride and more blessed that I could every imagine.

In Virginia Beach today for Networking on the Beach with TCE – The Career Engineer – Francina Harrison.

Today was incredible. I vended for COR Health and Wellness Fair. That’s the City of Richmond. In past years it was the DPU – Dept of Public Utilities who hosted the event and it was held in the Arthur Ashe Center. This year the host was the Richmond Convention Center and I think most of the 4700 employees came through at some point during the day. My body is crying – pain – joy – relief!! It was a fantastic day that I could not have imagine getting through without my SSF (Soul(Purpose) Sister Forever) Darlene Owens. When I got home, all I wanted to do was melt into bed. Michael was going out for business and agreed to bring me back dinner – so what delayed me from this destination of my bed —- ROOMBA!!

Yes, I am the proud owner for a Roomba – I Robot vacuum cleaner. I thought since no one was home, I would set Roomba to roam and clean while I rested. But, as soon as it started, I could not take my eyes off of what it was doing. I-Robot is right – it immediately went under a small table where my G#3 (grand #3) toy truck was and roomba proceeded to push it from under the table as if to say – MOVE!!!

So then I thought, while roomba cleans the floors, I will tidy the kitchen. 2 hours later everything had been cleaned, shined and ordered and my body cried even more. HELP ME!! My back and legs were aching.

At first I thought, I’ll use my new Soul Purpose Ginger Salt Scrub to pamper and unwind…but a quick second thought led me to the HEAT!!! Thanks to Nadine my body has now melted into my armrest pillow and I can sit here and journal.

And by the way…dinner was Salmon, twice baked potatoes, rolls (a salad that I am saving for tomorrow) and apple juice.

Friday I have a colonoscopy so it’s time to prepare myself for a day of liquids to cleanse. I already have some organic chicken and vegable broth, fresh pressed organic apple juice and non-red jello. Tomorrow I will read the instructions to know exactly what to do. The one thing I am looking forward to is doing the Youngevity five day cleanse starting Saturday!! Then the Weight Management System. My goal is to drop 30 pounds by Fall/Winter.

Having just celebrated Mother’s Day, Josi’s Inspiration turns to the topic of Mothers Homeschooling their children. We want the best for our children and it starts with a sound education. Public and Private schools are no longer the only option. Join the conversation as I talk with Jawana Cameron, a mom who is successfully home schooling four children, three daughters and one son. One of her daughters is graduating this year. As a former PTA mom and now G-ma of three, I often discuss the option of home schooling
with my adult children and believe this option should be given serious consideration. What do you think?
